{"id":14574,"date":"2013-03-20T16:06:31","date_gmt":"2013-03-20T20:06:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.unionvilletimes.com\/?p=14574"},"modified":"2013-03-20T16:06:31","modified_gmt":"2013-03-20T20:06:31","slug":"uhs-swimmers-strong-at-state-meet","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.unionvilletimes.com\/?p=14574","title":{"rendered":"UHS Swimmers strong at state meet"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.unionvilletimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/UHSLogo.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright  wp-image-14579\" alt=\"UHSLogo\" src=\"http:\/\/www.unionvilletimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/UHSLogo.jpg\" width=\"183\" height=\"168\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.unionvilletimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/UHSLogo.jpg 261w, https:\/\/www.unionvilletimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/UHSLogo-108x100.jpg 108w, https:\/\/www.unionvilletimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/UHSLogo-250x229.jpg 250w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 183px) 100vw, 183px\" \/><\/a>Unionville High School swimmers had impressive performances \u2014 the girls team finished a strong 13th place in AAA out of 57 schools \u2014 at the state swim meet at Bucknell University, this past weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Senior Mackenzie Hornibrook took second place in both the 100 Fly and 100 Free. \u00a0She broke both of the UHS school records in these events as well.<\/p>\n<p>Laura Barthold placed 22nd in the 200 Free and 22nd in the 500 Free. \u00a0Erin Polries placed 25th in the 500 Free. \u00a0The relay team of Kate Evanko, Erin Polries, Laura Barthold, and Mackenzie Hornibrook placed 8th in the 400 Free Relay and broke the UHS school record as well.<\/p>\n<p>The lone UHS diver at the meet, McKayla Mawn took 12th place \u2014 the top performer from Chester County.<\/p>\n<p>For the boys&#8217;
