Acclaimed tenor Marco Panuccio will perform with Unionville High School students at a special concert at the school, Dec. 7.<\/p><\/div>\n

EAST MARLBOROUGH \u2014 Famed lyric tenor Marco Panuccio will share the stage with a number of Unionville High School students during a performance in the high school’s auditorium Dec. 7 as part of his December tour: ‘”O Holy Night–An Evening of Holiday Song.”\u00a0 This concert tour includes performances in Texas, Ohio, Florida, and Georgia.<\/p>\n

Panuccio at the Dec. 7 concert will be Unionville High School’s Chorale.\u00a0 This select ensemble of high school vocalists will work with the soloist in a vocal performance master class prior to the performance.<\/p>\n

About Marco Panuccio:<\/strong>
\nA lyric tenor, Panuccio has earned international acclaim from both audiences and critics. In 2012, Panuccio sang Pinkerton in Puccini\u2019s Madama Butterfly with Grange Park Opera, Don Ruiz di Padilla in Donizetti\u2019s Maria Padilla with Chelsea Opera Group, both in London, the title role in Harbison\u2019s The Great Gatsby with Ensemble Parall\u00e8le, tenor soloist in Verdi\u2019s Requiem with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, San Juan Philharmonic, Reno Philharmonic and Binghamton Philharmonic, and tenor soloist in Orff\u2019s Carmina Burana with Leipzig MDR Sinfonieorchester.<\/p>\n

In 2011, Panuccio sang the Duke with Grange Park Opera in which The Stage Reviews<\/em> said, \u201cMarco Panuccio\u2019s Duke is the work of an artist.\u201d\u00a0 Panuccio also performed O Holy Night ~ An Evening of Holiday Song (the show he’ll be performing in Unionville) in which The Chicago Tribune<\/em> said \u201cIt was what a holiday concert should be: beautifully sung, moving, intelligent.\u201d<\/p>\n

In 2010,\u00a0 Panuccio sang with the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra where the Cincinnati Enquirer hailed him saying \u201cPanuccio served notice once again that he is a leading tenor of the first rank.\u201d\u00a0 Panuccio performed B\u00e9gearss in The Ghosts of Versailles with Wexford Festival Opera in which Opera News<\/em> exalted him saying \u201cAs the villain B\u00e9gearss, Mr. Panuccio gave what might well turn out to be a career-making performance.\u201d<\/p>\n

Upcoming performances in the 2012 season and beyond include the Italian Singer in Strauss\u2019s Der Rosenkavalier and a recital honoring the centennial of Benjamin Britten, both with Cincinnati Opera, tenor soloist in Orff\u2019s Carmina Burana with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, tenor soloist in Verdi\u2019s Requiem with the Lebanon Symphony Orchestra, and the American tour of Marco Panuccio Presents O Holy Night ~ An Evening of Holiday Song.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
