The Chester County School of Government will offer insight into a variety of \u00a0county departments.<\/p><\/div>\n

School of Government to focus on inner workings during six weekly sessions\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Receiving a primer on county government, ranging from the justice system to community development to emergency services, will soon be as simple as driving to the mall.<\/p>\n

On Sept. 25, the county will begin the Chester County School of Government, a free six-week course open to all county residents at the Chester County Library,\u00a0 adjacent to Exton Square.<\/p>\n

School of Government classes are designed for citizens who want to know more about county services.\u00a0 Chester County elected officials and department directors will present information on the county\u2019s budget process, as well as courts, human services, health and environmental health, emergency services, planning and community development.<\/p>\n

The six-week course is free, but space is limited. For more information or to reserve a seat, e-mail schoolofgovernment@chesco.org or call 610 344-6100. The Tuesday classes will run from 7 to 8:30 p.m., beginning Sept. 25 and concluding Oct. 30. All classes will be held in the Struble Room of the Chester County Library, 450 Exton Square Parkway, Exton.<\/p>\n
