You can relax each Wednesday  at Anson B. Nixon Park’s  free Wednesday night summer concert series. The concerts  epitomize the easy-going times of summer, especially when shared with a picnic supper and a walk around the pond before the music begins.

The 2011 summer concert series begins Wednesday June 15 and runs each Wednesday through August 3.  Light suppers by local restaurants  and ice cream treats from La Michoacana are available for purchase each week. The concerts begin promptly at 7 pm and end by 9 pm and are held rain or shine. Full details are available at www.ansonbnixonpark.org.

Please CHANGE the name of the band on June 29th to the Alligator Zydeco Band. You have Zydeco a go go listed. That is incorrect
